What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is dummy text used in the design, printing, and typesetting industries. It has been the industry's standard dummy text since the 1500s when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

Origins of Lorem Ipsum
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, discovered the source of Lorem Ipsum in sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC.
